A number of relatives and friends were entertained at the Anton Williams home Wednesday evening honoring their son, Private Cyril Williams, who is home on furlough. The evening was enjoyed with cards and visiting. Prizes for high scores went to Regina Riesselman and Ed Vogl and low to Margie Engel and Walter Schmitz. At a later hour lunch was served. Private Cyril Williams is leaving Sunday morning for Seattle, Washington, where he is stationed.

CYRIL P. WILLIAMS
Funeral Mass for Cyril Williams, 90, of Halbur will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine Church in Halbur. Burial at Parish Cemetery with military honors.

Visitation on Sunday at Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll. Rosary at 3 p.m. and Prayer Service at 7 p.m.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Williams of Halbur; children, David Williams of Carroll, Allen Williams of Charles City, LuAnn Williams of Iowa City, Karen Pietig of Carroll, Marla Hoffman of Schaller, Roger Williams of Slater, and Peggy Schoeppner of Hastings, Minnesota.
