Lawrence Warren, an 85 year old resident of Sunnyview Nursing Home passed away at 9:41 a.m. on Monday, May 14, 2012.
A scheduled visitation will be held from 6 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home of Trenton. A graveside will be held at the South Manning Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2012.
Mr. Warren was born on February 4, 1927, in Griswold, Iowa, the son of James Wesley and Mabel Anna (Reynolds) Warren. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was married to Doris Marie Musfeldt in 1947 in Sioux City, Iowa. He farmed in Iowa until 1958 when they moved to Denver, Colorado. In 1966, they moved to a farm outside of Trenton.
Mr. Warren is survived by his wife, Doris Warren of Chillicothe, Missouri; a daughter, Judy Matteson of Milford, Michigan; a son, David Warren and his wife, Kathy of Spickard, Missouri; 5 granddaughters, 1 grandson, and 3 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers; a son, Laverne Warren; a daughter, Mary Louise Warren; and a daughter in law, Linda Warren.
