William Lee Strosahl


Bill is a Technical Sergeant in the United States Air Force, stationed at Sheppard Air Force Base, in Wichita Falls, TX. He is a member of the 360th Training Squadron, teaching new airmen in the KC-135 Technical Follow-on Aircraft Systems Course.
He joined the military in May of 1985, and is in his 18th year of service.
He was (March 2003) serving a temporary duty assignment at Mildenhall AFB in Great Britian, supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Bill is married to Joleen (Muhlbauer) Strosahl, also from Manning. They both graduated from Manning Community High School in 1978 and married at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manning on June 14, 1980. They have two daughters, Devon Marie, 19 and Lauren Michelle, 16 (as of November 2003).

Bill is the son of Dorothy (Moore) Knudson and the late Clausie Strosahl. Joleen is the daughter of Erna (Frees) Odendahl and the late Joseph Muhlbauer.

Bill is a Technical Sergeant in the United States Air Force, stationed at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas. He is a member of the 360th Tank Bomber Squadron as an instructor/supervisor. He joined the military on May 11, 1985 and went through basic training in San Antonio, Texas, at Lackland Air Force Base. He completed his initial training as an airplane mechanic at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas, on August 30, 1985. His first duty station was Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue, Nebraska. Bill served during Desert Storm, Desert Shield, Afghanistan Conflict and Iraq War stationed in Mildenhall AFB Great Britain. He has earned three Accommodation medals and three Achievement medals. Bill is the son of Dorothy Knudson and the late Clausie Strosahl.
