Kenneth "Mike" Spack


Mike graduated from MHS in 1963 and is the son of Victor & Arlene (Ruhde) Spack.

Sgt. Kenneth M. Spack, son of Mrs. Arlene Spack, recently completed a two-week course on counter-guerrilla warfare. Sgt. Spack, who is a present squad leader, is stationed at Camp Casey, Korea.

The course on counter-guerrilla warfare included training in such areas as: land navigation, combat and repelling, and rope brigades. After completing this training, the remainder of the period was devoted to seeking out and destroying a "Mock" guerrilla force and putting to practical use what had been learned previously.
Spack, who is a 1963 graduate of the Manning High School, entered the army in September of 1965. He was shipped overseas in February of 1966.
