Kreg enlisted in the U.S. Army in February 1984. He took basic training at Fort Dix, New Jersey, and maintenance training at Fort Carson, Colorado. SPFC4 Sailer went on maneuvers in Germany for four weeks and was honorably discharged February 1986.
