Royce Rowedder

Royce A. Rowedder Royce Allen Rowedder, 82, of The Villages, Florida, died July 29, 2013, at Cornerstone Hospice surrounded by his family. A private memorial will be held at a later date.

A longtime resident of Watertown, Wisconsin, Royce was born in 1930 in Manning, Iowa. He graduated from Manning High School in 1948 where he played on the state championship basketball team, also of that same year. Royce earned a degree in accounting from Valparaiso University and still holds several football records there. From 1952 to 1954 he served with the U.S. Army stationed in Japan.

He married Sandra Jean Watkins on June 21, 1958, and recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid golfer and dedicated Packer fan.

Surviving are his wife Sandra; four children, Leslie Rowedder, Chip Rowedder, Rob Rowedder and Danette Rowedder-Rowsell; and nine grandchildren.
