Ronald J. Odendahl

Sgt. Ronald J. Odendahl entered the U.S.A.F April of 1965 and was honorably discharged October of 1968. He served at R.A.F. Lakenheath, England for 3 years.
He married Edna Fahn, from Harlan, IA., and they had 4 children; Michelle, Mrs. Dan Vollstedt; Stacie, Mrs. Rourke Mullen; Paul and Steven.
All 4 children graduated from Manning High School.

U.S. Air Force Sergeant Ronald J. Odendahl, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Odendahl of R.R. 2, Manning, Iowa, participated in "Polar Express," a NATO training exercise recently concluded in the Bardufoss area of Norway.

Designed to test the rapid mobility of forces throughout Allied Command Europe, the exercise involved land and air components.
Sergeant Odendahl is assigned as a jet engine mechanic at Lakeheath RAF Station, England, with the 494th Tactical Fighter Squdron.

The sergeant is a 1962 graduate of Manning High School.
His wife, Edna is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Fahn of 205 Victoria St., Harlan, IA.
