Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class, Michael W. Nath is a sailor leaving his mark as part of the first crew of the U.S. Navy's newest nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, the Ronald Reagan (CVN76).

The Reagan is under-going the last phase of its five-year construction at Newport News, VA. It will be delivered to the fleet in 2003.

As a member of the pre-commissioning unit Nath said he has had the opportunity to see the ship built "piece by piece".

Nath (MHS 1998) is the son of Pam Nath of Manning.
