Jerry Knaack Sent to Scott Air Force Base
A 1-c Jerry Knaack, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Knaack, has been transferred from West Palm Beach, Florida, to Scott Air Force Base in
Bellville, Illinois. He will attend school there. On July 12, Jerry and a friend, A l-c August Pfaehler,
also stationed at Scott, were guests in the Knaack home here.

Corporal Jerry E. Knaack, who has been stationed at MacDill A.F.B. at Tampa,
Florida, has been moved to Keesler A.F.B. in Mississippi to attend school.

He was born in Manning, Iowa, February 10, 1931, to Edward and Marcella (Martens) Knaack, along with his sister, Barbara Nielsen, and brother, Phillip Knaack.
Jerry served in the US Air Force for 26 years and later worked as a technician at ITEK.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 59 years, Toshiko, his sons Eddie (Kim) and Paul, and grandsons Jerry, Andrew, and Brent.
A memorial celebration will be held at Mount Olive Ministries, 2038 E. Calaveras Blvd., Milpitas, California, on August 29, 2015, at 10:00 a.m.
He will be interred at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery on September 7, 2015, at 10:00 a.m.
