Keith was born November 9, 1923, in Carroll, Iowa, to Herman and Gladys (Hunter) Wunder.
He grew up in the Manning, Iowa, area and was a 1941 graduate of Manning High School and attended Iowa State University for a short time.
He served in the Army Air Force during World War II from June 1, 1943, until March 9, 1946. He served in the Asiatic Pacific.
Keith married Viola F. Eggers in Fremont, Nebraska, on June 8, 1946. He lived in Omaha for many years and lived in Fremont for the past 30 years. He was employed by the Federal Aviation Administration for 38 Vs years as Deputy Chief at the Omaha Air Traffic Control Facility. He retired at the age of 55 years. He wintered in Texas for 20 years. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fremont.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Viola; daughter, Diane (and husband, Gary) Wiese of Omaha; grandchildren, Heather (and husband, Wes) Krein and Douglas Wiese; and sister-in-law, Ruth Eggers of Fremont.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Harvey Eggers.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date with the Rev. Glenn Meyer of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church assisting. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont at a later date.
