Kimberly J. Waterbury

SFC E-7 Kimberly Waterbury enlisted in the Army National Guard at the MEPPS Station in Des Moines, Iowa, on December 29, 1987. She is a member of Company D 109th Aviation Battalion in Boone, Iowa. She took her basic training at Fort Dix, New Jersey, from June to August in 1988 and then took her advanced individual training from August to October 1989. Kim moved up in rank starting with Specialist E-4 at Fort Hood, Texas, in June of 1990 to Sergeant First Class E-7 on April 17, 2000. She has received four Army Achievement medals and the Iowa Commendation Medal in the "Fit to Fight Program" achievement of physical standards. Kim spent a year of active duty, from February 10, 2003, to February 9, 2004, with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
