Jeff was inducted into the United States Navy on October 1, 1984. His training and duties took him to San Diego, California, Guam and the western Pacific Ocean. He achieved the rank of Petty Officer on October of 1986 and received the Western Pacific Sailor of the Quarter Award and several Sea Service Ribbons. Jeff was discharged October 1988 with the rank of Radioman 2nd Class. He notes the long hours, hard work, and great friends in the service and wouldn't change it for the world.
