John entered the U.S. Air Force, May 1987. He received basic training at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, Texas, was assigned to Keesler AFB, Mississippi, where he received Ground Radio Communication Electronics Maintenance training and was then assigned to Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. He has served various stateside and overseas assignments including United Arab Emirates during Desert Storm, also Panama, Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal, Columbia, and Guatemala. T Sgt. Schreck is currently assigned to Eglin AFB, Florida.
