Jason Erb, son of Dennis and Judy Erb, was inducted into the U.S. Air Force December 18, 2000. His training and service took him to the following bases: Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota for Operations Group Scheduling with the 319th Operations Group; Vance AFB Enid, Oklahoma for joint Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training with the 33rd Flying Training Squadron and 25th Flying Training Squadron; Moody AFB Valdosta, Georgia for introduction into Fighter Fundamentals with the 49th Fighter Training Squadron; Davis-Monthan AFB Tucson, Arizona for A\OA-10 Fighter Training with the 358th Fighter Squadron; Nellis AFB Las Vegas, Nevada for Air Ground Operating School; Pensacola NAS, Florida for Water Survival training; Fairchild AFB Spokane, Washington, for Land Survival & Resistance Training and Pope AFB Fayetteville, North Carolina, with the A\OA-10 Fighter Pilot & 74th Fighter Squadron.

Jason served overseas in Operation Iraqi Freedom at the Tallil AB Al Nasiriyah, Iraq with the 332nd Air Expeditionary Group; Operation Iraqi Freedom at Camp Habbaniyah Fallujah, Iraq as a Battalion Air Liason Officer with the 1/32 Infantry Battalion & 10th Mountain Division; Operation Enduring Freedom at Bagram AB, Afghanistan with the 455th Air Expeditionary Group.

Captain Erb (still serving) has received the Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal along with the Air Force Expeditionary Service Ribbon with Gold Border and one Oak Leaf Cluster, Small Arms Expert Ribbon, Air Force Longevity Ribbon with one Oak Leaf Cluster and Air Force Training Ribbon.
