Dale Hell Writes Folks That He is Driving Jeep For Medical Officer
After a four months' silence, Cpl. Dale Hell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hell of Manning, sent word to his folks that he is stationed in Seoul, Korea and expects to be in Japan soon. His letter follows: Dear Mom and Dad:
I'm writing you a few lines to tell you I'm fine and hope you are the same. We are having wonderful weather here in Korea. I'm driving a Jeep for Col. Dovill, 8th Army surgeon in Seoul. Next week I'm going to Taegu, South Korea, and maybe Japan. I hope so, Col. Dovell is going to make me a sergeant. I hope I make it for I have been corporal 16 months. I'm going to stay in the Army for I like it fine.
Well, I hope to take the Col. to Kimpo Air Base, Korea, so I have to go.
Your son,
Dale.
