Gary enlisted in the Army June 2, 1997. He trained at Fort Drum, New York, and currently is an Infantry Platoon leader, serving with the Airborne,
Ranger and Air Assault school. Second Lieutenant Dales will deploy to Afghanistan in January 2006.
