On December 27, 1952, Mardel Bonnesen married Jack in Manning. The couple lived in various places in the United States and Japan while Jack served his country in the U.S. Navy. After Jack retired from the Navy they lived in Lincoln and California before settling in Seward in 1985. They moved to Utica in 1988.

Jack Royden Fuller was born September 10, 1933, in Casey, Iowa, to Wayne Fuller and Katherine (Fuller) Murphy and passed away on June 26, 2006, in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 72 years, 9 months, 16 days. Jack graduated from high school and enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Jack made a career of the military serving from May 19, 1952, until March 1, 1972. On December 27, 1952, Jack was united in marriage to Mardel Kay Bonnesen at Manning, Iowa. To this marriage two sons were born, Robert and Jack. Jack and Mardel moved to the Seward area in 1985 and to Utica in 1988. Jack was the owner of Jacks WoodCrafts in Utica. He served on the Utica Village Board and was a member of the Naval Fleet Reserve Association.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne Fuller and Katherine Fuller Murphy and his brother, Art Fuller.

He is survived by his wife, Mardel Fuller, Utica; his sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Cindy Fuller, Runaway Bay, Texas and Jack and Angie Fuller, Seward; his five grandchildren, Chris Fuller, Kelly Fuller, Kaci Fuller, Andy Fuller and Kevin Fuller; great-grandson, William Fuller; his sister, Carol Murphy, Lincoln; nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Celebration of Life services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Wood-Zabka Funeral Home, Seward, Nebraska. The Rev. Michael Benischek, officiant.
Burial: Utica, Nebraska, Cemetery, with full military honors.
Cremation; no viewing.
Signing of Remembrance Book: 9 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. today, funeral home.
