Donald F. Mohr in the middle
This is the picture Don mailed to Livie - not telling her which one he was. When she received it she hoped it was Don in the middle.
Don & Livie met through the mail via Livie's cousin.

"That's the picture Don first sent to me and didn't tell me which one was him. He's in the middle of course, and I don't know who the other two were. They were just some of his buddies that went home with him on the weekend.
That picture was taken in front of his house in Manning. Don and I met through my cousin, Mary Eleff, who was a WAVE stationed at the same base as he was. She asked him to write to me and he didn't at first. His buddy, can't remember his name, did write to me and Don saw my letter to him and he took my address from that letter and started to write to me.
Don came to see me on his furlough and we hit it off right away. When he got discharged, he came to Cleveland and got a job to be close to me.
That was 1948 of September.
I graduated on June 17, 1949, and we got married on June 25, 1949."
