DENNIS EARL DREES
Dennis Earl Drees, 44, of Manning, died late Wednesday, April 30, 1975, at the Veterans' Administration Hospital in Des Moines, where he had been a patient for two weeks.

Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Church here by the Rev. Norbert Weber, M.S.C. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, with military honors. Friends may call at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning after 1 p.m. Friday. The rosary will be recited Friday at 8 p.m., followed by a Bible service at 8:30.

Mr. Drees, a farmer, was born at Carroll April 19, 1931, a son of Edward and Viola (Eischeid) Drees. He attended rural school near Manning and served in the Korean War. His marriage to Rose Mary Higgins took place at Dunlap February 19, 1955, and they have farmed near Manning.

Survivors include his wife and six children, Gary, Anna, Mark, Mary, Madonna, and Matthew, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Viola Drees of Exira, and mother-in-law, Mrs. Helen Higgins of Manning; and six sisters and brothers, Mrs. Gerald (Margene) Rule of Cedar Rapids, Merlin, Lyle, and Larry of Exira, Mrs. Dean (Janice) Andersen of Missouri Valley, and Mrs. David (Donna) Faga of Adair.

Mr. Drees was a member of the American Legion and V.F.W. Posts of Manning.
