CYNTHIA KAY WANNINGER

Cynthia Kay Wanninger, daughter of Johnnie and Norma Wanninger, was born at the Audubon hospital, Audubon, on October 11, 1956.
She attended Manning Community School and graduated from Manning High School in 1975. Cindy belonged to Lucky Lincoln and Playboys & Rounders 4-H clubs for nine years, and showed horses as a project in 4-H. She is a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, confirmed in 1971.

She worked in Atlantic at Heritage House for two years as a nurse's aide before enlisting in the National Guard. She left January 8, 1978, for training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and took a seven-week course in administration school (clerk typist).

Cindy arrived home on April 7, 1978, and was stationed in Audubon, Iowa, until the reorganization came about, then was transferred to Camp Dodge in Des Moines in October 1979. In December of 1979 she was transferred to Jefferson where she now goes to drill once a month.
Cindy is presently employed at T.C.I. in Audubon, where she lives.
