ANDREW B. BRINCKS

Andrew B. Brincks, 42, of Templeton, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at his home at 12:10 a.m. Tuesday, November 28, 1972. He had been in ill health for two years.

Requiem mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Sacred Heart Church here by the Rev. Eugene T. Schumacher. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, with military honors by the V.F.W. and American Legion Posts of Manning. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning, where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday and a prayer vigil is scheduled for 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Mr. Brincks, son of John B. and Anna (Reinke) Brincks, was born at Carroll August 31, 1930, and was a lifelong resident of Carroll County. He received his education at SS. Peter and Paul School, Carroll. His marriage to Margaret Ann Hoffman took place at Sacred Heart, Church here April 16, 1952, with the Rev. Msgr. Francis P. Schulte, officiating. They have lived in Templeton since 1955.

Mr. Brincks was a veteran of the Korean War; for the last seven years he has been employed by Farmland Foods at Denison. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Templeton, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post at Manning.

Surviving with his wife are five children, David, in service at Ft. Hueneme, California; Michael, Lucinda, Neil, and Jeffery, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Mary) Gute, Mrs. Henry (Colette) Soppe, and Mrs. George B. (Louise) Hoffman, all of Carroll; and two brothers, John W. Brincks of Anita; and Joseph H. Brincks of Carroll. His parents preceded him in death.
