Annette enlisted in the active duty USAF, March 1988 from Maui, Hawaii. She received basic training at San Antonio, Texas, attended the Dental Assistant training program at Sheppard AFB, Texas, and was recommended for Periodontal Therapy training at Scott AFB, Illinois. She was assigned to Davis Monthan AFB, Arizona, from 1988-1992. After active service she served in the USAF Reserve 1994-1996 as an Operating Room Surgical Assistant. She re-entered the AF Reserve and served until 2005 as a Dental Assistant, then separated from the Air Force. She received the Air Force Achievement Award and Good Conduct Medal. Annette lives and works in Tucson, Arizona, as a dental hygienist.
