George Campbell

The discharge papers are a good place to start for your Veteran history but it is written in very basic terminology. Hopefully you can take that information and write up the history into more of a story form otherwise I'll have to do it and I don't want to be responsible for making transcribing/rewording errors. When you use those discharge papers to write up the history you should then add family connections and other pertinent information about that Veteran and locate pictures to go along with it. Below is an example of discharge papers for George Campbell who graduated from MHS in 1938. Some of the abbreviations in these discharge papers are difficult to understand so hopefully you can find another Veteran to spell out those shortened descriptions when you write up your Veterans' history.
