Photo of me skipping class with (I think) Allen Rix (seems like he drove) to see a train wreck not far from Manning (South of town?).
The memorable part is that we knew we would have to answer for skipping class so we each picked up a nice orange from the spilled train cargo.
When we reported to Ms. Marie Perkins we explained that we knew we had done wrong, but were thinking of her.
We presented the oranges and she melted...sent us to class with no reprimand.
Ah Memories.
