Connie's paternal grandmother, was Elsie (Hansen) Sibbel, and Elsie's mother was Emma (Kusel) Hansen.
My dad, Amos Kusel, and Elsie were first cousins.

Robert and Constance Snyder

Robert L. Snyder and Constance G. Sibbel were united in marriage on April 14, 1973. Their parents are Leo F. and Carole Snyder from Breda, Iowa, and William and Patricia A. Sibbel from Manning.

Constance worked at the Carroll County Courthouse in the Treasurer Department, and Robert worked at Rotert Construction in Halbur, Iowa. They lived in Carroll, Iowa, until the spring of 1977 when they moved to their present location in Manning. Bob continued to work in Halbur and Carroll until 1983 when he started Bob's Construction.

In addition to the construction business, Bob and Connie started R & C Rentals in 1997. Connie is currently employed at the Manning Family Recovery Center.

Robert L. and Constance have three children: Robert W., Steven F., and Debra Ann. Robert W. works with his dad and brother as a self-employed contractor and gunsmith. Robert W. married Lorie Miller in September 2000, and they are living in Manning. Robert and Lorie have two children, Kurtis and Dylan.

Steven is a self-employed contractor and works with his brother and dad. Steven is engaged to Stephanie LaFoy from Audubon, Iowa. Stephanie is attending college majoring in Elementary Education. Steven and Stephanie have a daughter Madelyn M. born October 2004, and they are living in Manning.

Debra Ann graduated from Manning High School in 2005 and will be starting college in the fall of 2005 majoring in liberal arts at this time. Deb has been active in chorus and some basketball along with working 20 hours a week at the Manning Hospital in Housekeeping for the past 2 1/2 years
