There were several pictures taken in the Manning Senior Center.
I have a special interest in them because my mother, Dorothy Kusel, was instrumental in getting this facility and service in Manning.
She first held potlucks in the community buildings for the residents of Terrace Apartments and Elmcrest, which then expanded, so she worked out a deal with the VFW to hold the meals in their building, and finally worked to get a grant and raise money for the Senior Center.
