I have quite a few memories of Olivia, better know as "Livie."
One of the main memories are the various places she sang - mostly in the Sacred Heart Choir where I had video taped some Christmas Church programs in the 1980s,
but also at some community events and one time when we first started Channel 2 I asked some Manning individuals to sing the Hallelujah Chorus at a live broadcast and
Livie was one of them.
It was a crude broadcast where the choir stood behind the counter of the Manning Municipal Utilities office and I had my video camera with on-board microphone to show it.
I can think of a number of Manning ladies in different choirs whose singing voices stood out in a prominent way over the decades and Livie was definitely one of them.
Since Livie wasn't born/raised in the Manning area, I don't have any of her ancestral pictures but hope to get some in the future from Michele to scan and add Livie's
family history to the Manning Historical database.
