Gene Steffes does a lot of great things for the Manning community. Many of them are not noticed but I've been documenting the various things he does over the years.
For many years now, Gene purchases toys/gifts and uses them as prizes for his Kinderfest Duck Races.
There is no fee for the duck races - and the kid can pick out whatever prize he/she wants.

We have hundreds of great volunteers in Manning and some go way above and beyond the call of civic duty, and Gene is one of them!!!
