These pictures were taken on the south farm just outside the city limits on what was the old Herman & Alva (Smith) Gotch place.
Alva was a Music teacher at MHS. She was first married to Merlin B. Wyatt who died from the 1918 Spanish Influenza - brother of Orren Wyatt of the Wyatt hospital. Orren named the hospital Wyatt Memorial Hospital - after his brother Merlin.

After Nissens moved to the farm north of Manning - Gerhardt "Gabby" Lamp purchased the property - 2022 address 11204 318th St in South Manning.
Today the acreage is owned by Ken & Becky (Mohr) Eischeid.
