GEORGE EDWARD WEGNER

George Edward Wegner, Jr., 47, died at his farm home south of Aspinwall unexpectedly Saturday, January 30, 1971. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning, with the Rev. Andrew Stewart-Morris of the Methodist Church, officiating.

Mrs. Lyle Joens will be soloist, with Mrs. Beverly Mitchell, organist. Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery. Dale Vollstedt, Melvin Renze, George Pfoltner, Rueben Stoberl, Melvin Kusel, and Ed Meiners will be pallbearers.

Mr. Wegner was born August 30, 1923, the son of George E. and Bertha (Kuhl) Wegner, and had always lived on the farm of his birth. He was married October 15, 1945, to Lois Weems.

Survivors include his wife, Lois; three daughters, Mrs. James (Donna) Venteicher of Manilla, Mrs. Bill (Kathy) Johnson of Deloit, and Janice, at home; one granddaughter, Brenda Venteicher; and one brother, Carl Wegner of Wilsall, Montana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Edwin.
