Our ancestors Marx and Christina (Talk or Toelk) Hass came to America from Schleswig--Holstein, Germany.
Christina also had two sisters that came to America.
They were: Anna (Toelk) Frahm, (June 7, 1852 ?) who was married to Detlef Frahm.
And: Elsabe Catherina Toelk (1863 ?) (The question marks by the dates are because I am not sure these are the correct birth dates for them.)
Marx and Christina lived in Clinton, Iowa and then moved to a farm in Crawford County, Iowa.
I'm not sure where in America the sisters went, but I am searching for this information. A good guess would probably be the Clinton area, and whether or not they came to the Manning area also, is another question.
These dates and names may not be accurate or complete, and are open to correction and revision.
Also needed are the genealogies of each child's descendants.
