DIANE AND PASTOR BOB RIGGERT

We can remember June 1, 1987 very well, for it was on that date that our family moved to 519 12th Street, Manning, Iowa. It was a day of mixed emotions--fear, anticipation, excitement--for the Riggert family. Bob had accepted the call to become Pastor of Zion Lutheran Church and so we became residents of Manning.

We were greeted very warmly by the church as well as by the community. It was not long until we felt part of the Manning community as we enjoyed our first Kinderfest experience the week after we moved.

The Riggert family includes Bob, who has served as Pastor of Zion since 1987. He serves on several church district boards and also enjoys community involvement. He belongs to the Manning
