William Spall

William Lee SpaII, 51, of 833 S. O'Brien St. in Seymour died at 7:30 a.m. Friday, April 27, 1984, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he had been transferred Monday, April 23, from Jackson County Hospital.

Ill four months, Spall had been street commissioner for the city of Seymour, Indiana.

Funeral will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 30, at Voss Funeral Home in Seymour with Dr. Stewart Silver officiating. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour.

Persons may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 29, and after 8 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Spall was born April 7, 1933, in Manning, Iowa, to the late Lee R. and Viola (Gottsch) Spall. He lived most of his life in Jackson County.

The street commissioner was a member of the Eagles and the Moose Lodges.

On April 26, 1978, in Seymour he married Nina Barnes, who survives. Also surviving are five children, Dennis Lee Spall, Connie Sue Elsner, William Eugene Spall, David Lynn Spall, and Tamara Renee Anderson, all of Seymour; and two sisters, VilaRa Coker, and Judy Walters, both of Seymour.

The family requested that memorials be in the form of donations to the Jackson County unit of the American Cancer Society.
