Death of William Rowedder.
It was quite a shock to the people of Manning and vicinity to learn of the death of William Rowedder, who has resided on a farm seven miles northwest of this city for the past twenty-seven years. He had been ailing for some time but he had complained very little and no one suspected the end was so near. He had, though, been somewhat afflicted with heart trouble for some time, which was the immediate cause of his death.

Mr. Rowedder was only fifty years old, and has been a good, useful man, honest and upright in all his dealings, a good neighbor, a good husband and an indulgent father. He leaves a wife and several children to mourn his departure.

The funeral was held Sunday at the home. Interment at the Hayes Township Cemetery. He was followed to his last resting place by a long concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends.
