W.G. Rasgorshek Dies of Heart Attack
William "Rags" George Rasgorshek, 74, World-Herald printer for 43 years, died Thursday, October 27, 1950, of a heart attack at his home.

A native of New Haven, Connecticut, Mr. Rasgorshek was born October 23, 1876, and came with his family to Plattsmouth, Nebraska, in 1881. He joined the World-Herald graphic arts department in1905 and retired in 1947. He was a member of Capitol Lodge No. 3, Masons.

Mr. Rasgorshek is survived by his wife, Effie (Parish), a son, Dr. Robert Rasgorshek, both of Omaha, and his sister, Mrs. Jose Ottesen, Los Angeles, California.

Funeral services, to be held Saturday at 2 p.m., will be at the Fitch & Cole Memorial Chapel; the Rev. Walter H. Traub of Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be at Bohemian National Cemetery, Omaha, Nebraska.

Former Resident Dies In Omaha
Announcement of the death of W.G. Rasgorshek, 74, a printer on the Omaha World-Herald for forty-three years, recalls to many this family who for years were residents of Plattsmouth.

William G. Rasgorshek was born in New Haven, Connecticut, October 23, 1876, coming to Plattsmouth with his family in 1881. Members of the family were tailors and for years operated a tailor shop in this city. A monument of their residence is the building at Fifth and Main Street now occupied by Chet Welshimer's Firestone store. This building was built by the Rasgorshek Brothers in the eighties.

The deceased joined the graphic arts department of the World-Herald in 1905 and retired in 1937. He was a member of Capital Lodge No. 3. A.F. & A.M.

He is survived by his wife Effie (Parish); a son, Dr. Robert Rasgorshek, both of Omaha; a sister, Mrs. Jose Ottensen of Los Angeles, California.

Funeral services were held Saturday in Omaha, conducted by Rev. Walter H. Traub of Kountze Memorial Church.
