Funeral services for William C. Plahn, Jr., 62, Norfolk, formerly of Pierce, will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the First Methodist Church in Norfolk. The Rev. Kenneth Hicks will officiate and burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Plahn died, Monday, September 25, 1967, at his home.

He was born July 12, 1905, at Manning, Iowa, to Mr. and Mrs. William Plahn, Sr., and married Alice Sellentin on May 30, 1929. She died in 1962, and in August 1963, he married Edna Schutt.

Mr. Plahn is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Edward Lubbers, Norfolk; four grandchildren; two step-children and four step-grandchildren.

Also surviving are three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Anna Altwine, Pierce; Mrs. Henry Zauner, Tilden; Mrs. Emma Sattler, New York City; Henry Plahn, Plainview; and Herman Plahn, Pierce.

Mr. Plahn was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
