William E. Peterson Services for William E. Peterson, 80, of 615 Sherman Avenue, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Parrott and Wood Mineral Home, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Waterloo, Iowa.

Mr. Peterson died at St. Francis Hospital in Burlington, Thursday, March 24, 1977.

He was married to Elsie Steen November 22, 1915, in Carroll. After her death he married Ethel Bell January 16, 1954, in Albert Lea, Minnesota. He was employed by Illinois Central-Gulf Railroad for 28 years, retiring in 1961 as lead motorcar repairman.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Son of Erick and Charlotte (Engleen) Peterson, he was born April 27, 1896 Ogden, Iowa.
