Dr. William E. Norden, 58, Manning veterinarian, died about 9:30 a.m. today, February 10, 1948, while on a call at the Frank Musfeldt farm in Shelby County.

Death was due to a heart attack, according to the Shelby County coroner, who was called to the Musfeldt farm.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Ohde Funeral home here, with the Rev. Arthur Raeside officiating. Graveside services will be Friday at Stromsburg, Nebraska.

Dr. Norden, who had lived here for about eight years, was born November 5, 1879. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, and two brothers.

His first wife, Ethel, was born November 15, 1879 and died September 2, 1938.
