WILLIAM MUSFELDT
William Musfeldt, 87, of Manning died Friday morning, March 19, 1971, at St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll, where he was taken Tuesday evening.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Zion Lutheran Church at Manning, of which he was a member. Pastor Edward F. Heinicke will officiate and burial will be in the Manning Cemetery, with nephews as pallbearers. The Ohde Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Musfeldt was born September 20, 1883, near Aspinwall, a son of John and Anna (Nottelmann) Musfeldt. He attended school near his home. In 1908 he was married to Katie Paulsen and they farmed south of Manning until retiring and moving into town in 1947. For the last year and one-half the couple has resided at the Carroll Manor Nursing Home in Carroll.

Surviving are his wife; five children, Mrs. Adolph (Elsie) Puck of Manilla, Henry and William Musfeldt and Mrs. Henry (Ella) Sonksen of Manning, and Mrs. Lawrence (Doris) Warren of Trenton, Missouri; also four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two brothers, Julius and Louie Musfeldt, both of Manning.

Mr. Musfeldt was preceded in death by a son Arnold in World War II, a granddaughter, five brothers and a sister.
