NAOMI WIEMANN
Funeral services for Naomi Wiemann were held Tuesday, December 11, 1979, at 2 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Manning, with Pastor Edward F. Heinicke officiating. Interment was in Manning Cemetery with Merlin Struve, Orren Ramsey, Arthur Fielweber, Herman Porsch, Darrell Bales, and Albert Musfeldt as casket-bearers. The Ohde Funeral Home in Manning was in charge of arrangements.

Naomi Marie, daughter of Harry and Hattie (Rudnick) Raebel, was born October 19, 1919, in Audubon County, Iowa. She attended the schools in Gray and graduated from Gray High School in 1937. She was united in marriage with Marvin Wiemann on January 20, 1943, at Zion Lutheran Church of Manning. She worked as a sales clerk for Hansen and Pahde Company until 1962 when she helped her husband in his locker plant. In 1970 she started to work as a custodian in the Manning Community Schools.

Naomi was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Manning and a charter member of the Evening Circle of the church.

She has been in failing health for a year and died at her home in Manning on Saturday, December 8, 1979, at the age of 60 years, 1 month and 19 days.

Naomi was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin, by several uncles and aunts as well as other relatives and many friends.


Naomi Wiemann is buried in the Manning City Cemetery.
