Virginia (Fritz) was born July 19, 1920, in Manning, Iowa, and died July 19, 2007, in Gun Barrel City. Virginia graduated with the Manning High School class of 1938.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward C. Vermeule in 1994.
Previously of Anaheim, California, she was a resident of Gun Barrel City for the past 37 years and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her sons Jim Vermeule and wife Toni, Mabank; and Jack Vermeule and wife Nancy, Desert Shores, California; daughters Joyce Beatty, Gun Barrel City; Judy Spears and husband Travis, Mabank; and Janie Murphy, Hemet, California; sisters Mary Grau, Long Beach, California; Pat Welch, Seal Beach, California; and Kaye Henkenius, Falmouth, Massachusetts; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Virginia was the daughter of Francis (Farley).
She had four siblings: Mrs. James Wulf of Vail, Mrs. Walter Welch of Anaheim, Mrs. Richard Grau of Long Beach California, and Mrs. Matthew Henkenius of Rahway, New Jersey.

Mrs. Frances F. Williamson, 65, was found dead in her apartment at 301 1/2 East
Erie Street in Missouri Valley, Iowa, Friday morning, November 8, 1968. Her
husband Loyal Williamson found her, at 7:30 a.m. when he returned from his work
at the Missouri Valley Grain, Inc. elevators. An autopsy, order by Dr. John
Barnes, medical examiner, was performed at Jennie Edmundson hospital, Council Bluffs.
Mrs. Williamson was employed at the Roundup and she closed the establishment and went home about 2 a.m. Mrs. Williamson was a resident of Missouri Valley for 31 years.
She was born August 17, 1903, in Vail, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Myrtle Farley. She was reared in Vail and attended the Vail Public School and St. Ann's Academy in Vail.
She was married to Mr. Williamson in Logan, Iowa, on June 24, 1952. They were engaged in business here for a number of years.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Williamson is survived by her mother, Mrs. Myrtle Farley of Vail; five daughters, Mrs. Eddie Vermeule of Anaheim, California; Mrs. James Wulf of Vail; Mrs. Walter Welch of Anaheim, California; Mrs. Richard Grau of Long Beach California; and Mrs. Matthew Henkenius of Rahway, New Jersey; 23 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are seven sisters, Mrs. Dick Fraham of Milan, Michigan, Mrs. H.R. Wall of Reseda, California, Mrs. Albert Cartens of Manilla, Iowa, Mrs. John Brewster of Omaha. Mrs. Louis Gehring of Denison, Iowa, Mrs. Herbert Hoover of Palace Verdes Estates, Cal, and Mrs. Clifford Dressen of Vail.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother Francis Farley of Vail.
