MRS. MILFORD McCONNELL Mrs. Milford McConnell, 49, Botna, died after a long illness Saturday night, August 5, 1961, at St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 8, at the Ohde Funeral Horne in Manning, with burial in the Manning Cemetery.

Officiating will be the Rev. Lester L. Moore, pastor of the Manning Methodist Church, of which Mrs. McConnell was a member.

The former Virginia Wycoff, Mrs. McConnell was born June 13, 1912, in Jefferson Township, Shelby County. Her parents were Eli Liston and Bessie (Stickler) Wycoff. She attended rural and Irwin schools.

On July 3, 1933, married Milford McConnell. They lived in Botna for 11 years, and since then, on a farm near Botna.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Dick, Manning, and Ronald at home; two grandchildren; her mother; one brother, Gordon Wycoff, Manning; and two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Gladys) Ramsey and Mrs. Noreen Swank, Manning.

Mrs. McConnell was preceded in death by her father in 1958.
