Services for Mrs. Roy Mork, 33, were held at the Ohde Funeral Home Saturday afternoon, with the Rev. Arthur Raeside charge. Burial was in the Manning Cemetery and the following acted as pallbearers: Russell Nelson, William Weber, Howard French, Ansel Armentrout, Elmer Jensen, and Axel Nielson.
Music was furnished by a quartet, Mrs. Nick C. Schrum, Mrs. Albert Dietz, Ray Pratt, and Clifford M. Johnson, with Mrs. Bonita Hagedorn at the organ.
Mrs. Mork was born Vera Viola Dethlefs in Manning, May 3, 1907, twin daughter of August and Sophia (Ahrens) Dethlefs. She died at her home February 12, 1946, following a long illness.
After attending the Manning schools, she taught in the country schools around Manning.
She was married to Roy Mork March 3, 1928. To them three children were born two of whom survive, a son, Marland, and a daughter, Dwanna. Another son, Larry, died in infancy.
Surviving besides her husband and children are her mother, Mrs. Sophia Dethlefs of Manning, a brother, Henry, two sisters, Mrs. Henry Mohr of Manning and her twin, Mrs. Albert Hoffmann of Portland, Oregon; and a half-brother, Otto Hinz, of Manning. Another brother, Albert, was killed during the First World War.
Mrs. Mork was baptized in the Lutheran Church and attended the Presbyterian Church in Manning and the Christian Church in Irwin.
