MRS. WALTER ULLER1CH
Mrs. Walter Ullerich, 76, of Manning, died Monday evening, January 15, 1973, at
Nebraska Methodist Hospital, Omaha, where she had been a patient for three
weeks and had undergone surgery. She had been in failing health for the last year.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Zion Lutheran Church here, with the Rev. Edward F. Heinicke officiating.
Burial will be in the Manning Cemetery. The Ohde Funeral Home of Manning is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ullerich was the former Laurena C. Schultz. She was born at Chicago, Illinois, September 26, 1896, a daughter of Charles L. and Sophia (Tock) Schultz. She received her education in Chicago and in Wisconsin.
Her marriage to Julius Pruter took place June 1, 1926, and they farmed in Hayes Township, Crawford County.
Following her husband's death she continued to live on the farm. On February 14, 1961, she married Mr. Ullerich and they made their home in Manning.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Dorcas Society.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Ed (Lida) Erps of Westside; a son, Ronald Pruter of Rippey; four grandchildren; a brother, Ralph Schultz of Chicago; and a sister, Florence Schultz of Clearwater, Florida. Another brother, Arthur Schultz, preceded her in death.
