Tim Rowedder, age 51 of Manning, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday morning at the Manning Regional Healthcare Center.

Timothy Jon, son of Daryle A. and Beverly A. (Hoffman) Rowedder, was born May 5, 1965, at Carroll, Iowa. The family made their home in Manning, and Timmy graduated from Manning High School in 1983. His love of sports started at an early age, and he participated in baseball, slow-pitch softball, bowling, and golf through the years.

Timmy worked at his family's gas station, Manning Oil Co., for a time. He then worked in garbage collection and seasonally for the anhydrous plant at Aspinwall Coop. Timmy was an avid Iowa Hawkeye, Kansas City Royals and Chiefs fan. On April 14, 2007, Timmy was united in marriage with Brenda Rupiper at Trinity Church in Manning.

Over the last three and a half years Timmy experienced many health challenges, including a recent surgery. He died suddenly and unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, August 30, 2016, at the age of 51 years, 3 months, and 25 days.

Timmy is preceded in death by his father Daryle Rowedder and grandparents Herbert and Edna Rowedder, Albert and Sophie Hoffman, Albert and Gart Rupiper and Jim Owens.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Rowedder, Manning; mother Beverly Rowedder, Manning; sister Julie Grau (Lonnie), Manning; parents-in-law Bill and Kathy Rupiper, Templeton; sister-in-law Nanci Jewell (Mark), Urbandale; brother-in-law Ryan Rupiper (Trisha) and their children Jameson and Reegan, Webster City; grandparent Louise Owens, other relatives and friends.
