For 13 years she was a nurse at the Wyatt Memorial Hospital, later moving to Minneapolis, Minnesota, and then to Dodge City, Kansas.
In 1935, she moved to Los Angeles, California, where she was employed as a nurse. She made her home in California with Mrs. Lee Johnson and the late Mr. Johnson until April 14, 1949, when she returned to Manning. She resided here with her sister, Amanda, who, with a niece, Phyllis Stribe, cared for her during her illness.
Survivors include her father, Henry Sievers of Manning; two sisters, Amanda, and Mrs. Frieda Struve of Harlan; and a brother, Herman, of Coon Rapids. She also leaves seven nieces, five nephews, and three cousins.
