Teresa Marie, daughter of Edwin J. and Irene A. (Schwarte) Reischl, was born May 25, 1955, at Harlan, Iowa. She grew up on the farm near Manning with her family and attended elementary school and high school in Manning. Following her schooling she entered the Sheltered Workshop in Denison. Through the years she worked in several local restaurants. After many years of living in group homes with WESCO in Denison, Teresa moved to Accura Healthcare of Manning in September of 2021.

Teresa enjoyed playing bingo, playing cards, doing word search books, going out to eat with her housemates, watching Hawkeye and Cyclone sports, and watching classic TV shows. She cherished the trip she took with Wesco to Branson and loved visiting with her family and seeing her nieces and nephews.

On Wednesday, March 1, 2023, Teresa passed away at Manning Regional Healthcare Center in Manning, Iowa, at the age of 67 years.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents; brother Dennis Reischl; nephew Caleb Reischl, and a niece Heather Kusel.

She is survived by her siblings: Ron Reischl of Fredericksburg, Texas; Sharon Odendahl (Joe) of Manning; John Reischl (Nancy) of Fairmont, Minnesota; Gary Reischl (Wanda) of Manning; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
