Tena Ehrichs, daughter of John and Anna (Jurgensen) Ehrichs, was born at Manilla, Iowa, on January 31, 1875. She lived with her parents on their farm and on June 10, 1893, she was united in marriage to Emil Tollgaard at Denison, Iowa. They lived in the Manilla, Iowa, vicinity until in the spring of 1909, when they came to Moody County and farmed northwest of Flandreau. They continued to farm until the death of Mr. Tollgaard in July, 1940, when she moved into Flandreau, where she has since made her home. Mrs. Tollgaard was a resident of Moody County for 53 years. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran church.

SURVIVORS
She is survived by two daughters, Anna, Mrs. William Schmidt, Pipestone and Marie, Mrs. Louie Hammer, Flandreau; one son, Henry Tollgaard, El Cajon, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren; and four brothers, Frank Ehrichs and Louie Ehrichs of Aspinwall, Iowa; Emil Ehrichs, Denison, Iowa, and Henry Ehrichs, Flandreau. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters, six brothers and one granddaughter.
