Steven LaVerne Olsen, 23, of Manning died at Manning General Hospital Wednesday, January 7, 1976, after a two-month illness.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Ohde Funeral Home here, with burial in the Manning Cemetery. Pastor Edward F. Heinicke, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, will officiate.

Mr. Olsen was born at Carroll November 9, 1952, a son of LaVerne and Audrey (Cramer) Olsen. Following his graduation from Manning High School in 1971, he attended Des Moines Area Community College at Ankeny. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Manning.

Surviving are his parents, of Manning; a sister, Mrs. Larry (Kathy) Clement of Ft. Dodge; a niece; and grandmothers, Mrs. Emma Cramer of Manning and Mrs. Nellie Olsen of Irwin. His grandfathers preceded him in death.
