MARJORIE JEANETTE STAHL

Marjorie, daughter of William and Melinda Sonksen Struve, was born November 13, 1925, at Manning, Iowa. She attended rural schools before attending Manning schools, where she graduated in 1943.

On August 29, 1943, Marge was united in marriage with Labert (Bud) Stahl at Manning. Shortly after their marriage she started working at Puck Implement Company and had just completed 51 years. She considered herself a bookkeeper, however over the years she did many jobs from putting parts away to unofficial office manager. Marge loved her work and it was a major part of her life. When she wasn't thinking about work she enjoyed flowers of all kinds.

Marge was blessed with good health all her life and entered Manning General Hospital with flu symptoms' the day before her sudden and unexpected death there on Monday, March 11, 1996, at the age of 70 years, 3 months, and 27 days.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Walter Bornhoft; and a stepbrother, Arlo Bornhoft.

Survivors include her husband, Labert (Bud) Stahl, of Manning; her sister, Lois and her husband, Lyle Hansen, of Denison; a stepsister, Alice and her husband, Roger Nissen, of Carroll; a step-brother, Harold Bornhoft and his wife, Irma, of Schleswig; a step-sister-inlaw, Alice Bornhoft, of Manilla; a nephew, Rick Hansen, of Denison; a brother-in-law, Kenneth (Putt Putt) Stahl, of Manning; two sisters-inlaw: Shirley and her husband, Leonard Frahm, of Raeford, North Carolina and Phyllis and her husband, Joe Henderson, of San Diego, California; aunts and uncles, other nieces and nephews, many relatives and friends.
